River

This nigga got me fucked all the way up. How in the hell did he think he was about to get up from a dinner date with me to go after another woman? A pregnant woman at that. He better have a great explanation for this one, or he will see the other side of River Allen tonight.

"Irree, do you hear me?" I walked up on them, calling his name because I didn't recognize the man that stood before me.

"What?" he snapped at me, and I had to stop and make sure this nigga was answering me like he was crazy.

"Excuse me? I asked him and looked over just in time to see the same girl, Lea, walking away.

"My bad, baby," he tried to apologize, then reached for my hand, trying to get me to look back at him.

Just as I was about to, that bitch turned to look me dead in the eyes before getting into her car. I could have sworn she had a smirk on her face, but I'd give the bitch a pass for now.

"Oh, it's her! You messing with that bitch?" I screamed while staring at him, demanding an explanation.

"River, chill out. Wait here. Let me go settle the bill and get our food!" he barked while looking at me as if I were crazy for asking that question.

When he walked back outside, I saw him looking around the parking lot until he spotted me pacing back and forth. He walked over to where I was and tried talking to me, but I ignored him until he grabbed me.

"River, chill out and let me explain!" he barked, and I gave him the death stare.

"Look, yes, I know her, but why would you say I'm messing with her?" he asked in a confused tone.

"I recently discovered Lea Johnson is the girl my ex cheated on me with," I explained.

"Lea Johnson?" he questioned while looking at me like I said the wrong name.

"Yes. She's pregnant by my ex and came into the pharmacy the other day to pick up her prescription. Wait, how do you know her if you're not messing with her? She was a new patient with a faxed-in prescription you filled after hours, and I worked the next day." I crossed my arms and stared at Irree as fire replaced my beautiful hazel-colored eyes.

"Calm down. For starters, her name isn't Lea, her name is Jade Johnson, and she's Illy's womb carrier. Four years ago, I told her I better never see her face around here again," he revealed to me, and my mouth fell wide open.

"Wait, her license and insurance card clearly stated Lea Johnson when I scanned a copy into the system," I said, and he looked confused as I was talking.

"That bitch is up to something. Excuse my language. And you said she's pregnant by your ex?" I can tell the wheels in his head began to spin.

"Yes," I said, looking at him, still a little confused.

"Come on, let's get in the truck.
